* Desktop browser (mobile not supported for full functionality)
* Valid email address
* Government-issued ID for KYC (must be 18+)
* A Sui-compatible wallet (Phantom, Slush, or OKX)

Step-by-Step Process [#step-by-step-process]

Step 1: Visit Alkimi Labs [#step-1-visit-alkimi-labs]

Navigate to [labs.alkimi.org](https://labs.alkimi.org). Verify the URL is correct to avoid phishing sites.

Step 2: Create Account [#step-2-create-account]

1. Click "Sign Up" or "Create Account"
2. Enter your email address
3. Create a secure password
4. Verify your email through the confirmation link

Step 3: Connect Sui Wallet [#step-3-connect-sui-wallet]

1. Install a supported wallet extension (Phantom, Slush, or OKX)
2. Click "Connect Wallet" in Alkimi Labs
3. Select your wallet from the list and approve the connection request
4. You can connect as many wallets as you like

Step 4: Complete KYC Verification [#step-4-complete-kyc-verification]

1. Navigate to User → Personal Information
2. Click "Verify" to start the KYC process
3. Follow Onfido verification steps (see KYC section for details)
4. Wait for verification approval (typically within hours)

All four steps must be completed to participate in the ecosystem. Account creation alone isn't enough to access full features. KYC is mandatory for staking and claiming rewards.
